At Illawarra Speed Coaching our primary goal is to assist keen sprinters of High School age and above to run their fastest. Speed clarification is Speed equals distance over time. Running mechanics is of the utmost importance for running fast.
Without correct mechanics it would be difficult to improve a runner’s time. Details of how much force a sprinter can apply and how quickly it is applied is a major factor when sprinting. Using video of the athlete and “coaches’ eye” we can analyse and discuss what needs to be corrected giving the sprinter immediate feedback.
